Pisa beyond the Tower
If I say “Pisa” the leaning tower is the first thing that pops into people’s minds almost straight away. And, of course, those millions of photos circling around the internet, where everyone thinks that they are “holding” this building in the most unique way possible. And no. They are not. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that super old Sport chocolate advert, where a Bob Marley doppelgänger is riding a motorbike when he spots a tourist posing-as-if-he-would-be-holding the tower, he quickly jumps off his vehicle and with all his strength gained from eating the chocolate helps the unsuspecting man straighten the tower. Wedding in Portovenere – Photo Diary
The main reason and highlight of our Italy trip was the wedding of my brother, Zsolt, and my since-then-sister-in-law, Zsóka. During one of their previous trips they both fell in love with Portovenere so much, that they decided to have their big day and say yes (or maybe “si”?) here. As an addition to the official photographer’s work I also spent some time taking a few pictures in the background and I decided to share my favourite ones on the blog. Pompeii and Herculaneum
Because both Will and I prefer to travel to places where nature is dominating and where tourism is less popular, Italy isn’t necessarily on the top of our potential destination list. But because my brother, Zsolt, and my (since then) sister-in-law, Zsóka decided to say “Yes, I do” on this ancient roman land, we ended up mixing business with pleasure and visiting a few famous spots.
